My repertoire of tools includes various Energy Psychology techniques, guided imagery, Psycho-spiritual Integration, Focusing as well as other methods, all in which I have been formally trained.  I regard my practice as eclectic, and the tool is matched to the client, not the reverse. Methods and tools are briefly explained below:

  • Energy Psychology (EP) Techniques – Energy Psychology is a group of therapeutic approaches (modalities) that builds upon the mind-body connection. This connection acknowledges the influence of the body's energies upon one's emotions and (conversely), one's emotions upon the body.  Intervention with the body's energy system (usually by means of touch) appears to help shift brain chemistry in a way that can resolve and heal emotional difficulties. EP, being first developed about 10 years ago, is still considered a relatively new method. Although not yet 'proven' the growing body of scientific evidence supports the efficacy of these methods.

The actual EP protocols vary from modality to modality but most require that the client mentally access the chosen issue while simultaneously touching key points along their body's energy pathways. In many respects this part of the procedure is related to acupuncture because it based on the meridians and uses many of the same accupoints. Some other features EP treatment might include are the use of specific eye movements, humming or counting, and Muscle Testing.   I may use Muscle Testing techniques to gauge your body's energy level with regard to a problem. Properly used, the tool of muscle testing uses your body to report on information that is true for you, the source of which is stored within you but often outside the range of your conscious mind. The veracity of muscle-testing relies on the demonstrated premise that negative thoughts will weaken energy moving through a muscle and positive thoughts (which permit an uninterrupted energy flow) will maintain a muscle's strength. In addition to theoretical and practical EP training I received via The Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology, specific EP modalities I practice are: the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapas Accupressure Technique (TAT) and EmoTrance.  Please feel free to ask me for more detailed explanations.

  • Psycho-Spiritual Integration – Developed by Rabbi Efim Svirsky author: Connection – Emotional and Spiritual Growth Through Experiencing G-d's Presence. This method's goals are to strengthen your spiritual resources and heal emotional wounds. Incorporated techniques include: deep relaxation, spiritual resourcing exercises, guided imagery, focusing, regression and emotional release.

  • EMETT – Emotional Maturity Established Through Torah.  This is a method of cognitive-emotional awareness employing Torah principles. Developed by psychologist Miriam Adahan, Ph.D. as a basis to self-help, mentor-led groups.

  • GoldenThread Practitioner – Golden Thread is a homeopathically prepared kabbalistic remedy developed by Kabbalistic scholar and teacher Sara Yehudit Schneider. This mode of healing links tinctures corresponding to the ten sefirot (or channels of the flow of Divine energy) with the body and specific psycho-spiritual conditions.  I use the remedy with Inner Energy Health  clients, preferably in conjunction with the treatment methods above. An additional fee is required to cover the cost of the remedy for this optional treatment.

  • Focusing – a gentle, yet powerful process that guides one to deeper levels of understanding of what is within.

  • Metamorphosis – A Hands-on energy technique that addresses unconscious blocks.
